Cannonvale Bendigo: We absolutely love the selfless work all you ladies do. It's our pleasure to be able to assist you. We really are incredibly lucky to have such amazing people in our community.
AFADU: On behalf of the AFADU Board of Directors and all the kids at the Lirhanzo Children’s Village in Zimbabwe. Thank you so much for your support.
We give our support to AFADU and LCV because we love the way the African children and families are not having a western lifestyle imposed on them. They are simply encouraged to include the benefits of education, improved farming, and better health practices as a part of their traditional way of life.
When I told Suzi about AFADU she immediately wanted to help, especially after she heard the story of Kulani 14 and Tiyiselani 15, who were unable to complete high school because their Mother had left them in the care of an aunt who could no longer afford the school fees.
A group of wonderful women live on Hamilton Island, the island I used to call home. A few years ago, the ladies decided that to give the gatherings a little more weight, they would each put in $2 every Sunday which would be put towards sponsoring one of the AFADU children.
