Solomon continues to go from strength to strength!
You may remember that in 2013 he graduated from University after studying Veterinary Science.
He then secured some locum work in Harare, secured a job lecturing at Harare university whilst furthering his knowledge in equine studies and is now working hard on his Masters degree.
He is looking to a bright future giving back to the community after his support from AFADU and has since married a medical doctor.
Nobody can say it better than him … so we’ll let him express his thanks to all who supported him from AFADU:
“Hi! I want to thank you all the AFADU team for the good work that you have shown me. You have taken me from the dust and molded me to be somebody in the society.
My synopsis goes, you started off with me from secondary school up to tertiary education.
At the University of Zimbabwe I was accepted at the faculty of veterinary science where I undertook a degree of veterinary science, a very scarce degree with only about 10 countries offering it in Africa.
Through your financial and social support I soldiered for 6 years to complete my degree program and I was awarded a degree as a veterinary surgeon in September 2013.
Now I am a world class product through your work. So I want to thank you all for transforming my life from someone who was a social reject… to someone whom the community esteems. I tremendously thank you for that.
I have a lot to say but I hope we will have time to share verbally.
Now I have changed from being a mere Solomon to Dr Solomon! Thank you very much, please accept my thanksgiving.”
