Alexander is about 5 months old and is a beautiful, cuddly, bubbly bundle of joy!

He is already sponsored by Sue and Simon from the Whitsundays, however, Tawedzera who is growing fast, is also a darling little boy who was dumped in Rutenga.

And now officially being loved and cared for at the Lirhanzo Children’s Village.

He doesn’t have a sponsor at this stage and we would love someone to take him on.

Sponsorship for 12 months will cost $40 per month for half sponsorship or $75 month for a whole sponsorship. Contact AFADU if you would like to support children like Alexander.

We give our support to AFADU and LCV because we love the way the African children and families are not having a western lifestyle imposed on them. They are simply encouraged to include the benefits of education, improved farming, and better health practices as a part of their traditional way of life.

When I told Suzi about AFADU she immediately wanted to help, especially after she heard the story of Kulani 14 and Tiyiselani 15, who were unable to complete high school because their Mother had left them in the care of an aunt who could no longer afford the school fees.

A group of wonderful women live on Hamilton Island, the island I used to call home. A few years ago, the ladies decided that to give the gatherings a little more weight, they would each put in $2 every Sunday which would be put towards sponsoring one of the AFADU children.
